LTSA will issue permits to operate the flights carrying passengers during quarantine

Departure from Lithuania

The government of Lithuania has decided coming into force from April 30, 2020 to relax the procedure for departure of flights carrying passengers from the international airports of the Republic of Lithuania. Flights carrying passengers from airports of the Republic of Lithuania to airports of third countries (non-EU countries) from now on will require only individual permission to operate issued by the Lithuanian Transport Safety Administration. The same permission will also be required for carriers from third countries (non-EU countries) which are willing to departure from airports of the Republic of Lithuania. (For carriers based in EU such permission for departure from the Republic of Lithuania is not required).
Arrival in Lithuania
For arrival in Lithuania remains the same procedure that came into force on April 4, 2020.

Actions to be taken by the air carriers:

 1. To submit free-form requests to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (kod@urm.lt ) and the Ministry of Transport and Communication (esoc@sumin.lt ) for the evaluation of the relevance of the flight.

2. To submit an application (Form C) to LTSA via e-mail: flightpermit@ltsa.lrv.lt

 

LTSA will issue a permit after the decision of the Minister of Transport and Communications on the flight concerned.
